About Us

The Geeta college of Education started his journey in 2006. This is a first Unit of Geeta Group of Institutions. The sole aim of providing the best of infrastructure and services to the students with an in take of 100 seats in B.Ed. with a unique patron of learning in felicitous campus the college done his job very well. The college has always believed in a system based upon student’s teacher participation and the inputs of experts from outside. With the passage of time now the college has 50 seats of D.Ed., 200 seats of B.Ed. & 50 seats of M.Ed. The above said courses are offered to the students as per admission norms and criteria by NCTE and C.R.S.Univesity . The college has rich Extra-Curricular tradition of student’s inspired organized cultural festivals and competitions for balanced development of student. The college can also boast of one of the finest play field for sports.

A child is inherently a learner with a natural inclination to explore, discover and share that new found knowledge with family and associates. In today’s age, for a child to grow up into a responsible and responsive citizen, indeed a sensitive global citizen, a whole new mindset is vital in imparting learning in school which addresses a child’s multifarious developmental needs. It is with this motivation that Mr. S.P. Bansal and Mrs. Geeta Bansal took initiatives in the field of education and setup some of India’s renowned education institutions .Today these reputed institutions are delivering quality education, resulting in nurturing their student’s development both in terms of knowledge and character

Courses

Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.)
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

  • Candidates with at least 50% marks in Senior Secondary (10+2) from Board of School Education Haryana, Bhiwani or its equivalent examination with five subjects including passed English as one of the subject.
  • There shall be a relaxation of 5% marks in minimum qualifying marks i.e 47.5% at Senior Secondary (10+2) level for Scheduled Castes (SC), Backward Classes (BC) and Differently abled candidates.
  • Matric with Hindi/ Sanskrit

Diploma in Elementary Education (Urdu):- D.El.Ed. (U)
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

  • In addition to the qualifications prescribed as at (i) above for Diploma in Education (D.El.Ed), the candidate should have passed Urdu in Secondary (10th class) Examination from Board of School Education Haryana, Bhiwani or any other Board having equivalence of their examinations with Board of School Education Haryana, Bhiwani.

    • Note

  • A candidate having higher qualifications will not be entitled to any additional benefit whatsoever; he/she will have to fulfill all the requisite prescribed qualification and other eligibility conditions.
  • The eligibility of a candidate (as on 25-08-2018) for admission to D.El.Ed. course shall be verified at the time of admission/counselling.
  • The medium of Instruction & Examination for D.El.Ed. course will be Hindi except Urdu & English subjects.

Bachelor of Education
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

  • Candidates with at least 50% marks (47.5 in case of SC/ST/Blind/Visually and Differently Abled Candidates of Haryana only) either in the Bachelor Degree and/or in the Master Degree in Science/Social Science/Humanity, Bachelor’s in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks (52.55% in case of SC/ST/Blind/Visually and Differently Abled Candidates of Haryana only)or any other qualification equivalent threreto, are eligible for admission to the Programs.

Master of Education
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

  • Master as per NCTE norms: The admission for the Degree of M.Ed. Programme shall be open to candidates having atleast 50% marks or an equivalent grade in any of the following programmes :
    (i) B.Ed.
    (ii) B.A- B.Ed., B.Sc.-B.Ed.
    (iii) B.El.Ed.
    (iv) D.El.Ed. with an undergraduate degree (with 50% marks in each)
